Cartography He closed his eyes, feeling fingers trace over his lines and sketch out his routes. He is a diagram for referencing, a man- a boy- with a map on his face facing the world and the darkness, either/or. Tiredness percolates like a blotchy, bleeding pen into his bones and crinkles. He crumpled like cheap paper and cigarette ashen hands folding representations of paper cranes. 546. He's counting in his mind without seeing, mouth moving soundlessly to mimic thoughts that never become words.

Chocolate and Coffee She had skin the colour of mocha, sweet chocolate and bitter coffee mixed together to make a blend that captivated him. Her hair was blue, bluer than the midnight sky, and her hands and voice wove a spell around him, eyes hidden behind black sunglasses and layers of makeup. But he knew her eyes were brown. No amount of makeup could hide them. They were more chocolate than her skin, a warm, rich colour that made her real smiles light up the sky better than the sun could. She always asked him why he tried to make her smile. He only gave a stupid answer.

I didn't speak out Demi remembers the day the Community took over. Everyone was cheering, and he was standing next to his best friend, both of them frowning, just passed fifteen. They were smoking, Demi's long brown hair down over his shoulders and Leo's short cropped light brown hair nearly a buzz cut. Demi was an anarchist and Leo had more conspiracy theories than alien hunters. Demi's clothes were a mess, boots sturdy and cargo pants ripped. His tank top was too small, and his jacket too big, but he didn't care. "This is going to be bad." Leo announced loudly, earning them glares from nearby supporters and ignored their looks. "Mark my words."

For the Love of Red I.
Demi likes the colour red because red is violence and anger and blood.

He's chilled to the bone, drenched with rain and sweat, panting and short of breath. His fists hurt and his knuckles are dotted with blood, a smear drowning his otherwise pale skin. His hands are reddened and grazed, and more seeps through the miniscule rips to his skin. There's red on his hands, a physical token of what he does, and red hazes his vision. His mind is gone. He's forgotten who he is or was and his suffering, along with the life he's stuck with. That was what this- fighting, winning (surviving)- did to him. Started uni today.

ummmm taking an art course; game art and design to be specific.

Looking forward to it. What I am not looking forward to is my bloody Foundation unit. I can tell it's going to be really difficult already

Hopefully I'll be able to focus to study because I think I'll be able to pass. I want Distinctions and High Distinctions in my other units though, so... personal art is like a bye bye. xD my poor darling characters. xD

So yeah basically a ramble just to update since my last journal was July... oops.
Oh, I did really well on exams too, last year! And I graduated high school too, obviously.

I'm a sixteen year old teen who might be still addicted to Neopets and my lovely friends there. I also adore ninjas, drawing, Shenkuu /and/ Moltara, words, character creation, writing and soccer. And ninjas.

Anyway, I draw and write pretty much all the time, and I'm the type of teen that doesn't like partying, being social or doing anything more on a typical weekend than listening to music, sitting at my computer, drawing/writing.

I enjoy drawing with crazy lighting and perspective, but I don't do it a lot because it frustrates me. I'm on a constant quest to improve, and that's the goal. C:

Hey, this is Mel from the drawing class at Murdoch. I know I don't know you at all (I don't even remember your name sorry, I'm bad at those) but I thought it would be cool to watch a few people from the class since we're all doing the same sort of stuff now and the progress could be interesting. So glad there's no exam for this or 3D modelling, we really got lucky there.

Anyway, I'll look through your gallery more when it's not almost time to sleep (still not used to getting up at 6am), see you around.

Hey! Sorry, don't really check my messages that often (&nah no problem I don't mind. I'm Speckie). Yeah, I'm so glad there isn't an exam. I have two which is pretty good, some people have four.

That's alright, I don't check them too much either, and it usually takes me ages to reply even when I do. The less exams the better imo, forced essay writing for 3 hours never did feel like a good way to assess someone's skills.

Also, I didn't see you after the drawing class today, so on the off chance you get this before tomorrow I'm still willing to give you the answers to the LITE thing (I can just email them or note them to you if you want).
